All brand new parts fitted by MB Motor Specialist are guaranteed for a minimum of 12 months or 12,000 miles
(whichever comes first).
However some brands and products have a longer warranty period. All our batteries come with a choice of 3, 4 or 5 year warranty. Our preferred supplier of exhausts have a 2 year guarantee as do many of our rotating electrics (alternator and starter motors).
We aim to use genuine parts when the vehicle is within its warranty period so not to cause any complications.
If you have preferences on a particular brand you would like to be fitted then please let us know at the time of the booking.
We no longer source and fit secondhand parts, if you would like to supply something for us to fit then we happily do so but be aware that we can not offer any warranty on this, and the risk lies with the customer.
This is also the same with any new parts that are supplied by customers, your warranty lies with the company you bought the product from and we will not offer any warranty. There will be cases where we will not fit certain supplied parts. This will be on case by case basis.
Regarding any second party warranty work, we only deal and invoice directly with the RAC. If you have a aftermarket warranty on the vehicle, we will happily speak to them on your behalf to try and get any claims accepted but the payment will need to be made by the customer before the vehicle is handed over and you will need to get reimbursed by your warranty company.
